Words of Inspiration and Motivation

"We must do more to make sure education meets the needs of our children and the demands of the future. First and foremost, he must continue to hold students, teachers, and school to the highest standards. We must ensure students can demonstrate competence to be promoted and to graduate. Teachers must also demonstrate competence, and we should be prepared to reward the best ones, and remove those who don’t measure up, fairly and expeditiously."
~President Bill Clinton

"It is my passion to make sure that all children are taught in the environments and in ways that nurture them to grow to their fullest ability."
~Louise Sparks

"Safety and Security don't happen, they are the result of collective consensus and public investment. We owe our children, the most vulnerable citizens in our society, a life free of violence and fear."  ~Nelson Mandela

  1. I really enjoyed reading your quote by Louise Sparks. I think, and hope, that every educator's passion is to ensure that all children are taught and nurtured so they will grow to their fullest ability.

  2. Thank you for your selection of inspirational and motivational quotes or speeches. I particular enjoy President Clintonʻs inspiration! It would be great and awesome that we could remove those who do not measure to the cultural standards or the disabilities of understanding the abilities of our children. Our children (in Hawaii) sometimes go home uninspired by those that tries to motivate them, so it would be an awesome idea to remove these educators. Yet, we would have classes with no educator, so do we have to subject our children to such downfall to qualified educators? We must continue to seek those that has the passion and motivation to secure a better future for our children. Keala
